### BLOCKED SINUS ###

Hey,something’s been puzzling me lately.I always have the feeling that something’s blocking my airwaves when singing(something in the back of my nose) and pushing against my sinuses. My polyps have been surgically removed twice in my life,once when I was 5 and another time when I was 13.The doctors said they won’t ever grow back but I have a hunch they’re here again…I’ve also been choaking a lot on my food lately,like I have no control over my breathing when I swallow…any ideas?
Does anyone thing this could affect singing as well?

My son has a double ear infection, sinus infection, and bronchitis. In addition to an antibiotic, antihistime, and Pulmicort, the doctor has him on Xopenex.

First, I suspect the Xopenex is making him very wound-up/hyper. He grits his teeth and spins himself into a fury. It’s almost scary. A close friend who is a nurse suggested the Xopenex as the cause.

I went on the manufacturer’s website and it says there that this med is not yet approved by the FDA for kids under 6, and they are still studying whether it is safe for use by that age group. I am horrified! Can I just omit this from his treatment altogether?

The pedi that prescribed it ticked me off years ago, but we only saw her because no one else was available for an appointment.

I have had bronchitus about 3 times before and once it went to a slight pneumonia. It’s never really completely heald and I got sick again in December with serious cough and a lot of mucus. I took the same medication that my doctor gave me for bronchitus for 10 days but I don’t really feel any different. I still have a LOT of mucus being formed and I’m getting headaches from my sinus I think because of all the mucus being formed. Also no matter how long I blow my nose, it never stops and my ears are completely blocked. I went to my doctor 3 times already and I seemed to get better but feels like it got worse again. HELP!!

why cant they just give me the medicine toget rid of sinus for good?? plz and idea of how to stop sinus and what can i do to focus on my studies due to sinus (serously i cant take it any more my forehead is like going to explode)

i m 18 yr boy. i have a serious sinus problem. About some days back,i was having difficulty in breathing. i went to doctor ,did an x-ray of nose…..n it shows that a part of my bone in the nose is extended and is blocking the airway. i have always breathed through my mouth in my life. But the now the doctor is saying that ,the only cure to this is that i start breathing thorough my nose,which will eventually heal the nose bone. He also said that if it get worst,then i’ll hav to undergo an operation which i want to avoid. it’s really very difficult for me to breathe with my nose,as i havnt done it in my life.
